Tomorrow is the official last day of my internship at ArtKingStudio. Tuesday is 'homecoming', if you will, at my school and we'll be briefed about the last 6 months. I'm really excited and anxious to find out what's going to happen.

About me

I am a concept artist and digital illustrator from the Netherlands. My passion is creating locations that set the stage for a story. As a young child I was often inspired by going on long hikes through the mountains of Austria with my parents and staying at the beach during summer holidays.

I was brought up with Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, cartoons, playing outside, toy cars and painting miniature models for a hobby. I also had a obsession for drawing lighthouses.

Many years later I transformed my creativity, love for nature, films, games and vehicles into a professional business.

Today I constantly observe the world around me and let nature still inspire me to paint scenes from my home country. I hope to one day incorporate my personal work into a professinal project for the game- or movie industry.
